Biographies

Dr. Sinclair has served as Music Director and Conductor of the Messiah Choral Society for the past 20 years. He also serves as Music Director and Conductor of the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park. Dr. Sinclair serves Rollins College as the Director of Music and is the recipient of the John M. Tiedke Chair of Music. He earned his undergraduate degree from William Jewell College and his master's and doctoral degrees from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. JULIA FOSTER, soprano, made her professional debut with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra covering the role of Gretel and singing the role of Angel/Gingerbread Child in their production of Hansel and Gretel, and her international debut (Salzburg, Austria) as Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. Other favorites include Blanche in Dialogues of the Carmelites, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Rose Maybud in Ruddigore and Adele in Die Fledermaus.   She is active in the stage, concert, and teaching arenas. CHERRY DUKE, mezzo-soprano, has performed with orchestras from coast to coast, including appearances at major halls such as Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. Cherry has been a featured sololist in Falla's El Amor Brujo, Bach's B-Minor Mass, St. John's Passion and Weihnachts-Oratorium, Beethoven's Mass in C and Choral Fantasy, Haydn's Theresienmesse, Mass in Time of War and Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart's Vesperes Solennes, Schubert's Mass in B-flat, Vaughan-Williams' Magnificat, Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio and of course, Handel's Messiah. BRAD DIAMOND, tenor, performances include works by Cavalli, Monteverdi, Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Stravinsky, Rossini, Berlioz, Orff, Bartok, Janacek and Britten with symphony orchestras across the United States and Canada. In recent seasons, Mr. Diamond has performed Messiah with the Roanoke Music College, Buffalo Philharmonic, Jacksonville Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Oratorio Society of New York, Nashville Symphony, Tulsa Philharmonic, and Princeton Pro Musica.  View the full biography here

WON CHO, bass Korean-Canadian Bass Won Cho is in demand in both concert and operatic repertoire worldwide thanks to his energetic voice and strong stage presence, appearing with many of the opera houses and orchestras of the U.S., Canada, Europe, Mid East, and his native Korea.
